Accountabilities:
- Accountable for on-time, reliable, high quality management reporting internally and externally in compliance with local legislation as well as Corporate guidelines
- Accountable for the development of business control function (e.g. process optimization) / organization and people (e.g. knowledge sharing, training)
- Accountable for the Business (unit / segment / delivery center) performance, profitability and working capital levels together with the Business MT members
- Accountable for risk management (credit-, currency- and insurance risk etc.)
Stimulate business performance
- Follow up and push the realisation of targets set forward in long range plans, budgets and estimates of the Business (unit / segment /delivery center)
- Supply financial information necessary to steer and develop the performance of the Business (unit / segment / delivery center)
- Initiate, stimulate and implement actions inside and outside the Business that improve the profitability of the Business (unit / segment / delivery center) or other areas within the Wärtsilä Corporation Management reporting of Business (unit / segment / delivery center)

Responsibilities:
Forecasting
- Business long range plan, budget and estimate co-ordination, preparation and follow up. Validation and follow up of investment plans, Ensure high standards in auditing (financial, tax and customs) in close co-operation with respective legal entity company controllers and Wärtsilä Corporation
Financial control
- Ensure that financial information is in compliance with Corporate and local rules and regulations (corporate manual, accounting manual, local legislation, directives, etc.)
- Capacity- and Product cost control
- Support the Business (unit / segment / delivery center) with financial information and analysis
- Continuous benchmarking of best in class performance
- To support in ad hoc projects (e.g. M&A projects) inside or outside
Requirements:
- Master degree Business Administration with Finance or Accounting as major
- Working experience of 3 – 5 years
Experienced with product costing, quotation calculations, volume simulations
- Expert in financial management with willingness to understand business and its processes
- Fluent spoken & written English
- Good computer skills
