Roles and Responsibilities
Lead and coach a professional sourcing team to be responsible for:
-- New supplier sourcing, selection, recommendation in Asia region,
-- Supplier evaluation and performance management,
-- Costing calculation and price negotiation with suppliers,
-- Purchase Order execution and follow up,
-- Co-ordinate and co-operate with other department such as QA, PD team and logistics to ensure on-time, efficient and cost-effective deliveries,

-- Act as a "Problem solver" of the team,
-- Daily communication with head office in USA,
-- Claim evaluation and settlement.
Familiar with Excel and words spreadsheet

Requirements

1. At least 7 years or above solid experience in textile / apparel sourcing and merchandising.
2. Familiar with woven items and knitting products.
3. Fluent in English writing and speaking with Mandarin as native language.
4. Self starter with high initiative and good interpersonal skills.
5. Frequent traveling to factories in China
6. College or university degree.
