Responsibilities (fundamental job duties):
1. Responsible for establishing and maintaining quality assurance system and procedures to effectively manage the product quality purchased from 3rd party manufacturers in Asia Pacific Region.
2. Responsible for establishing and updating inspection and quality control standard which is in conformance with specification of products and the relevant ISO standards.
3. Establish, train，motivate, mentor and evaluate on site and off site teammate performance.
4. Qualify new supplier to ensure supplier complies to Mira’s requirement and qualify new product to ensure product fulfills related product specifications.
5. Liaising with various internal departments to plan and schedule for effective deployment of the supporting QC staffs to inspect the goods at manufacturing sites before shipment.
6. Develop procedure and control system to effectively monitor suppliers’ production processes on regular basis.
7. Responsible to ensure compliance with local and various overseas regulatory and accreditation standards.
8. To conduct QMS audit at suppliers site.
9. Responsible on complain handling. Liaise with manufacturers and customers to identify effective CAPA
10. Support both regional office and home office in USA on the product quality related issues.
11. To perform all other work as and when assigned.


Reporting Relationships:
Position reports to: Quality and Regulatory Compliance Assurance Director
Positions reporting to this job: Senior Quality Engineer(s), Quality Engineer(s), Inspector(s)

Minimum Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree or above;
2. At least 15 years working experiences in manufacturing facility.
3. Quality Assurance, product engineering experiences in Pharmaceutical or disposable medical device manufacturing plants is preferred;
4. Strong leadership skill while possessing an outstanding team spirit;
5. Strong knowledge in ISO13485 and US FDA standards;
6. With rich communication skills in both English and Chinese.
7. Self-motivator, Result driving, Team-player & Can-Do attitude.
