-For our Energy Sector in SHANGHAI,we are looking for a Metallurgist & Forging Engineer.

What are my responsibilities?

1 The main functions are explain specifications for the suppliers, clarify technical questions from the supplier, Supplier Qualification, FAI, Translating standards from Chinese to English and reverse, etc. Support supplier to develop and optimize manufacturing process

2 Work closely with SQE and RCM managers as commodity team on making work plan, market screening, selecting, evaluating, developing and qualifying suppliers following relevant procedures. Prepare accurate reports in web based system.

3 NCR case handling

4 Frequently travel to suppliers.

5 Support MCP project by participating design reviews to identify and minimize risk. Propose cost-out suggesting to DC. Create ECR.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

-Bachelor or master degree in mechanical or material areas.

-knowledge of related components

-Make sure that the specifications are understood and followed by the supplier. Ensure that important product parameters are checked in a competent way

-Minimum 5 years working experience in Metallurgist for components

-Former work with wind turbine components is preferred

-Strong interpersonal and presentation skills. Good at coordinating internal and external resources. Team work spirit. Collaboration with local and international teams.

-Fluent in oral and written English.
