-For our APAC team in Shanghai we are looking for an Supplier Quality Process Engineer-Surface Treatment.

What are my responsibilities?
Mission of Function:
1) Conducting process and product audit (Surface Treatment);
2) Supervising, monitoring and controlling supplier's manufacturing process capability;
3) Trouble-shooting quality problems related to surface treatment of SWP products;
4) Quality performance development at assigned suppliers;

Tasks:
-The main functions are supervising the suppliers’ running production, checking surface treatment processes, geometrical measurements, final documentation, NCR case handling, shipment inspection, etc.
-Prepare accurate reports according to the demands described by the quality management.
-Quality and Technical follow-up at the supplier and "root cause analysis", on SWP mechanical components
-Quality performance development at assigned suppliers;
-Frequent travel to suppliers to monitor supplier's performance and communicate with supplier face to face.

What do I need to qualify for this job?
Competencies:
-Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Material Engineering or related technical disciplines.
-Experience in Surface treatment processes.
-Good English skills, in writing and oral. Solid communication and team work skills.
-Good experience in supplier quality management, familiar with 8D process.

Essentials:
-Professional: Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Material Engineering or related technical disciplines.
-3+ year's experience in processes of surface treatment and quality control experience is essential; experience in problem solving and audit is supplementary.

-Collaboration with international teams.
-Networking and team building skills.
