Summary of Job Content
Responsible for the sales and marketing of products for industrial applications in China.
Creates presence and identifies opportunities for business growth in China in the assigned area of responsibility and develops and maintains customer relationships, understands customer needs.
Key Accountabilities
Proposes and implements sales plans / programs upon agreement with Sales Manager IA China.
Is responsible for all commercial aspects within assigned customers, from initial contact to received payments
Responsible to offer prices and set in agreement with Sales Manager IA China all commercial terms for business to customers in due course, responsible for customer satisfaction
Maintains knowledge of customer profitability
Establishes sales plans for the area of responsibility and prepares the operative aims in agreement with Sales Manager IA China.
Monitors market and industry developments in China at assigned customers against position of competitors.
Establishes in-depth knowledge of customers needs through relationships with main contacts at customers, such as buyers, researchers, engineers, etc.
Establishes an annual growth and action plan to acquire new customers.
Handles comments on performance from customer within the BU guidelines.
Interactions with Sales colleagues, Customer Service Managers, Operations, SCM, Product Managers Advanced Solution, Accounting, etc.
Preferred Knowledge / Skills / Experiences
University degree in Engineering, mechanical machinery, die & mold manufacturing
Over 8 years experience in sales and/or marketing or Technical Competency Center
Professional background in industrial environment is preferable
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Knowledge of local language and culture
Fluent in English (listening, speaking, writing)
Knowledge in IT solutions (MS Office is obligatory)
