Job Description:
1.Under general or direct supervision of project procurement manager, manage the procurement of project material from Request for Quotation stage to PO close out in accordance with established Material Management Plans, policies, and procedures on project.
2. Perform Procurement duties including responsibility for critical project supplier negotiations.
3. Coordinate and perform shop expediting of materials and equipment, as required.
4. Update various reports in Material Management systems

Basic Job Requirement:

1. Must have Purchasing Experience in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for equipment and materials related to Pharmaceutical projects
2. Engineering background in Manufacturing and Life Science
3. Bachelor's/College Degree in Process Engineering, preferred
4. Good interpersonal and communication skills
5. Good computer literacy and skills
6. 5-7 years of related Pharmaceutical Procurement experience
7. Good knowledge and understanding of Commercial terms and conditions, Incoterms, Supply base, Export compliance requirements, Taxes and duties
8. Fluent English and Chinese both in speaking and writing

Other Job Requirements
1. Intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing and email as well as the intermediate use of spreadsheets and electronic presentations
2. Effective oral and written communication skills
3. Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
4. Domestic/international field assignment experience preferred; international project experience preferred
