Job Description:
1. Drive multiple simultaneous engineering projects creating demos and prototypes covering a broad range of applications.
2. Provide technical and execution/logistics direction and support to maximize the speed and efficiency of the Concept Development function. Reach out beyond the Shanghai team to engage engineering support from WDLabs engineers and other WD engineers at other locations, and contractors, to achieve best and fastest delivery.
3. Work directly with external partners and customers on collaborative development activities.
4. Contribute a significant amount of hands-on work to the team effort delivering demos and prototypes, including design, build and test activities.

Skills/attributes required:
1. Several years of experience managing product development activities related to data storage systems.
2. Strong capability to organize and drive multiple simultaneous projects and contribute hands-on work. Detailed knowledge of data storage system and component designs.
3. Ability to reach-out and collaborate effectively with an extended development team including engineers at other WDLabs and WD locations, contractors, external partners and customers.
