Specific responsibilities are:
- (Pre) Order phase
o Technical order review for fulfillment to confirm correctness of the configuration
- Order - time to delivery phase
o Partner with the Account Manager to establish agreed upon customer expectations & deliverables. .
o Align / coordinates / plan site surveys (including the sale of environmental consulting services) to ensure readiness before install starts.
o Work with PD Install coordinator regarding system completeness, TDA's NSR's X-Tech, and ship date
o Discuss install plan with Account Manager and customer as soon as install dates are known to set install delivery schedule, review order and facilitate customers actions for room readiness.
o Work with Field Service to create an agreed install plan and schedule:
§ Assign certified engineer with proper backfill
§ Identify and request expert, like application support, ahead of time
§ Identify and schedule 3rd party support, including (separate) shipping and installation.
o Work with regional SSOC to prepare and submit Purchasing information for contractors / 3rd parties.
o Delivers install plan and schedule to PD install coordinator
o Ensures system entered in (QAD) installed base with right information.
- Install phase
o Ensures timely executed of the agreed install plan (continuously staffing, on-time 3rd party / expert support, etc).
o Manages install with weekly IPF (install Progress From) review
o Coordinates install escalations when needed
o Communicate status to Account Manager and FSD/FSM
o Coordinates system acceptance with appropriate applications resource
o SAB forecasting, tracking and monitoring
- Post sign off phase
o Evaluation of closed installs following established process to provide quality improvement feedback.
o Ensures install survey completion with customer.
- Manage / oversees Agent installs at agreed upon agent commission scheme's
The Requirements
This position is ideal for an individual with previous experience in similar industry and markets that FEI serves along with a proven background in Program/Project Management. The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
- Typically requires ~5 years of experience; 2+ years of experience in a (project)leadership role is preferred.
- Typically a bachelor degree is required, or a combination of education and experience that demonstrate the required skills
- Demonstrated successful project management experience, preferable with certified skills
- Previous experience in similar industries and markets that FEI serves is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Other languages a plus
- Able to effectively communicate with and managing the deliverables of cross functional and cross cultural teams to complete projects Team player
- Ability to provide information to others both internal and external to the organization; represent FEI to customers, the public, government, and other external sources
- Builds mutual trust and encourages respect and cooperation among team members
- Possess systematic problem solving skills
- Proven experience in risk management, reducing overall risk of project by planning, identifying, preventing, monitoring and controlling
- Ability to influence others and negotiate solutions is essential to success in this role
