1. Holding the production meeting on weekly basis to set the production plan and work order priority.
2. Prepare monthly production efficiency reports which include the output and labor hours, machine utilization, reject rates, etc.
3. Coordinating with the lean manufacturing manager to support continuous improvement process in the manufacturing operation.
4. Conduct performance appraisal for direct reports & ensure it is done for the rest of the production areas.
5. Enforce a quality culture, right first time. Ensure production schedules are maintained through continuous monitoring and maintaining of production records.
6. Making the production more efficient and effective by getting employees to work smarter which includes:
7. keeping shop floor clean and orderly, promote good work place through the introduction of 5S
8. Teaching employees to use machines as much as it can be to replace the inefficient hand work
9. Delivers practical, hands-on training to employees to eliminate waste in all production.
10. Responsible for health & safety in the production area.
11. As the key member of the top management team, driving the progress of setting up facilities in multiple locations all over China.
12. Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
