Job Description

Micron ASIC back end design is to use ASIC flow to design cutting-edge DRAM product. The design includes Digital/Analog and mixed signal IP. By employing the industry leading tools, state of art methodology, and innovative semiconductor technologies ranging from 25nm to 15nm and beyond, you will be participating in the development of:

? Chip floor plan.
? Synthesis.
? Timing driven placement and routing.
? P&R optimization.
? STA.
? Physical verification.
? High Speed Low Power and Small die size

Requirements

? Proven track records of successfully taping out complex ASIC chips in cutting-edge process and full-chip backend experience
? ASIC back-end design methodology: Knowledge of floor planning, physical design, timing, DFT, signal/power integrity, packaging, synthesis, low-power backend flow, and other back-end activities.
? Power user of Synopsis ICC tool.
? Proficiency in Verilog, VHDL, System Verilog and familiarity with programming and scripting languages is a significant plus.
? EDA algorithm, tool, and methodology development.
? High Speed Interface/Serdes applications.
? Familiar with analog simulation tools like HSPICE, HSIM, FINESIM or NANOSIM would be a plus.
? Familiar with power analysis tools like TOTEM would be a plus.
? DRAM knowledge is a plus.
? Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to other design peers in verbal and written form.
? A high level of self-motivation and the ability to be a self-starter.
? Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
? BS in EE/CS with 8+ years work experience or MS in EE/CS with 5+ years work experience
