Job Description:

As an ASIC Verification Engineer at Micron, you will part of a team that develops leading edge DRAM products for Micron. You will be part of a team that is driving industry advanced ASIC verification flow and innovation into next generation DRAM product design.

Responsibility:

? Defining, designing & verifying, modeling, and implementing of DRAM design. You are expected to deeply understand the DRAM design, the implementation and some discrepancies between DRAM and standard ASIC. So you need define the verification scope, develop the verification infrastructure and verify the correctness of the design.
? Developing/Maintaining verification environment, including test bench, regression system. Developing test plans for and verifying the function of the design, including coverage, drive bug to close, metrics for verification quality -Monitoring and review test code.
? Work with designers to debug failing tests and resolve bugs
? Analyze coverage gaps and devise strategies to fill coverage holes

Requirements:

? Proven track record of contributing to the development of ASIC based products by assisting with the overall concept, design and optimization of digital and analog ASIC circuits.
? Proficiency in Verification techniques, at both a block and system level, to work with the verification engineering team to support excellence in design principles and practice
? Knowledge and experience performing timing analysis/debug and implementing design improvements.
? Knowledge and experience on gate simulation and debugging techniques
? Experience in low power verification flow with CPF or UPF
? Experience in developing block and chip level test benches, test plan creation.
? Experience in verification using random stimulus along with functional coverage and assertion-based verification method. Experience with OVM/UVM, object oriented design principles, Mentor Questasim SV, Power Aware, SVA assertion. Good background in Verilog/SystemVerilog and verification methodology; knowledge of C or other HVL would be a plus
? The ability to work with DRAM Digital/Analog teams in developing co-simulation environments and system models
? Prior experience in memory control, error management, and power management would be a plus
? Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to other design peers in verbal and written form.
? A high level of self-motivation and the ability to be a self-starter.
? Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
? BS in EE/CS with 8+ years work experience or MS in EE/CS with 5+ years work experience.
