KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Collaborate closely with product managers, designers and front end engineers to ensure a seamless and reliable customer experience on the Web site, and to implement software for our back office and manufacturing

RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Develop new and extend existing features for e-Commerce, Back Office and Manufacturing
? Employ machine learning, multivariate statistical analysis and advanced algorithms to solve complex problems in measurement analysis and manufacturing
? Participate in planning, estimation and specification of features
? Play a key role in technology innovation, working on diverse projects emphasizing scalability, robustness and reliability
? Delve into the business of ecommerce and work closely with Marketing, Retail and Operations teams to quickly assess and build tools that meet their needs

REQUIREMENTS:

? Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related discipline
? 2+ years Back End development experience preferably in ecommerce
? PHP mastery, OO, MVC
? Solid SQL, query tuning and optimization, ORM
? Python, shell scripting
? Knowledge of caching, HTTP and database server performance and optimization
? Systems engineering including proxies, load balancing, failover architectures, logging, system and performance monitoring, dashboards
? Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including Agile and Kanban, coding standards, code reviews, source control management (git), build processes, testing, and operations, Continuous Integration and Deployment, unit testing
Nice to have requirements:
LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP), varnish, pound
Supply chain, logistics and ERP systems
Familiarity with the full Web stack, especially JavaScript, AJAX and CSS
Familiarity with NoSQL databases, CouchDB
