Responsibilities
？1. Setup, maintain, administrate, and optimize large scale (500-1000+) Linux and Windows servers for WD internal data systems (NPI-Express)
？2. Setup, maintain, administrate, and optimize NPI-Express Big Data platforms such as MySQL clusters, Hadoop/HBase Clusters, OpenStack Swift, Ceph, and provide the highest stability for data application development
？3. Assist in WD big data related storage R&D efforts, such as setup and optimize use cases with future WD storage products, and test them in the in-house data system for actual use cases
？4. Responsible for scripting and process of various data ETL work to ensure data is flowing smoothly and efficiency across site, WAN, and among databases or data stores.
？5. Troubleshoot user application bottlenecks from OS and database/store layer and assist developers to get the most out of the Big Data infrastructure.

Qualifications
？1. BS+ in CS or related field
？2. Redhat Linux Certified professional or equivalent system admin experiences
？3. 2+ years in IT as system admin and database (MySQL) admin
？4. Hadoop/HBase system admin experience preferred
？5. Great team player
？6. Able to work outside regular 9-5 hours for on-call emergencies
？7. Willing to travel occasionally to setup servers in WD different sites
