Job Summary

This role contributes to the success of the IT services operation providing standardized, stable, and secure Linux and UNIX servers and infrastructure.

Successful candidate will be able to propose and implement effective solutions, identify issues/problems, and keep improving the performance. Besides, she/he will have opportunity joining projects of changes/enhancements implementation. Strong communication skills will be the key to success. She/he will work with the cross-function teams and global teams on understanding the change/enhancement requirements while trouble shooting the issues/problems.

The responsibility will include but not be limited to following fields:

- Offer full Linux/UNIX Operations solutions that address Linux/UNIX server needs from a life cycle perspective from installation to decommissioning.

- Meet the needs for Linux/UNIX Operations with cost effective solutions that address both the short-term user objectives together with Ericsson long-term objectives.

- Continue to evolve in order to find better hardware technologies and software that can drive down costs and lead time.

- Work closely together with other teams to identify potential improvements.

- Maintain a balance between cost and value received by having a high-availability solution.

Position Qualification

- Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science or relevant areas

- Good English skills in both oral and written

- 5+ years’ experience in IT service area

- Solid skills in Linux/Unix

- Solid skills in Scripting (Shell/Perl/Ruby/Python)

- Good mindset of stakeholder/user support

- Good understanding of IT Environment & IT Processes & IT Services

- Good team work capability

- Be able to work under big pressure

- Open minded and result oriented

- Good at MS office application, especially content presentation

- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills

- Quick learner, able to learn new technology and can know how to use it in the daily work within a short time period

- ITIL Certificate is a plus
