Ericsson HSS (Home Subscriber Server) product is built with telecom-grade blade technology to ensure reliability, high availability and NEBS level 3 compliance. It is widely used in all of our IMS solutions, and provides authentication and authorization functions in the Evolved Packet Core (EPC) and GAN networks. With more than 65 commercial deployments, Ericsson is the proven leader in the realization of evolved network solutions using HSS servers to manage subscription handling.

The UDM Development Center (DC) in Shanghai takes a growing responsibility in developing HSS product, jointly with EAB and EEM, end-to-end from early phases to verification. We are looking for an open minded, agile, and well-experienced technical expert in developing the cutting-edge HSS product.

As a design expert, you will be responsible for the followings:

· As key leader in HSS cross-functional team, drive the software development for HSS product (Programming in C++, Java);

· Join the HSS software architecture team as team representative

· Design documentation like component description and use case modeling during system design and implementation.

· Writing test specification, test software and running test on functional level, as well as system level, for HSS product.

· Coach & mentor team members.

Requirements:

· University bachelor or higher degree in any of the followings: Computer Science, Telecommunication, Information Technology or Electrical Engineering.

· Solid computer science theoretical knowledge.

· Solid development experience and skills on C/C++ more than 3 year. Familiar with commonly used design patterns.

· Solid experience on Linux/Unix. Crossing platform development experience is a plus.

· Solid knowledge on IP networking and multi-thread programming.

· Good English communication skills (both in written and verbal).

· Have the passion for software development

· Can work independently, but also easy to work with.

· Enjoy team development, strong team work spirit and eager to share.

· Innovative and solution thinking abilities.

· Open minded and willing to take challenge.

· Good technical leadership & experience on team leader role or similar is a plus

· Solid experience on today's software development process, such as Agile.

· Familiar with software version control tool, such as Clear case or SVN, etc.

· Experience on following domains is an advantage:

o HSS product, User data management, IMS architecture, standards and protocols, e.g. Diameter, LDAP, Radius, MAP, HTTP/SOAP, SFTP, SNMP, IIOP, SIP, IPv6, SS7, etc.

o Knowledge on database (MySQL, etc.) and J2EE

o Knowledge on CBA architecture

o Experience on TSP platform

o Experience on TTCN

o Experience on System design and/or BIG development project experience for more than two years
