Position Summary:

This position is to provide indirect material purchasing work for inter-company.

Reports to Procurement Supervisor with interaction with various departments including: sales, warehouse, Admin, facility, Imp &Exp, EHS, marketing, finance and other functional department to offer premier purchasing service to inter-company customers.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Timely and correct material replenishment.
2. PO tracking and status update in JDE system.
3. Effective coordination with internal and external vendors for on time supply.
4. Full communication with vendors and vendors' performance management.
5. Exception situation handling for short/over shipment or other supply shortage.
6. Timely supply status update to relevant department and contingency action taken if necessary.
7. Claim handling with vendors.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.
2. 3+ year relevant experience in material planning and purchasing from local& oversea vendors.
3. Good communication and interaction skill; ability to interface multi functional groups.
4. Good teamwork and sense of responsibility.
5. Fluent in oral and written English skills.
6. Good command of MS office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
7. Good negotiation skills with supplier for on time delivery and performance improvement.
8. ERP/ JDE system knowledge is preferred.
9. Knowledge in manufacturing supply chain management is also preferred.
