Major Responsibilities:

· Primary responsibility is to identify, understand, interpret and ensure that all customer requirements will be achieved during projects launching.

· Ensure that the customer tools, methods and requirements will be applied properly and reports on regular basis to his management and also to internal / external customers as the interfaces with Project Managers, Quality Managers (customer and internal), Purchasing and etc.

· Support on customer initial audit in plants

· Support the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) steps within the OUR CLIENT Automotive Global Development Product Introduction Method (GDPIM) are carried out in a manner, which will ensure new product launch quality on core and application development programs. The product development quality engineer is to be the product development team’s problem solving, metrology and special characteristics resource. A broad knowledge of quality assurance with specific expertise in product, process and or quality engineering is required.

· Support the core development and program/project application management teams in executing to the GDPIM requirements and delivering a design which is optimized to the customer’s requirements.

· Has responsibility for verifying customer critical and significant characteristics matrix will be fulfilled and meet customer specification requirements;

· Assists program management in providing product application engineers with lessons learned from current production and or customer issues

· Reviews on DV/PV (Design Validation/Product Validation) for quality, act as Quality gate during APQP GDPIM process

· Review and approve customer PPAP, and communicate with customer for PPAP approve;

· Support, assist and help, AME/ Engineering to conduct PFMEA Workshop to pursue robust PFMEA and Control Plan

· Lead and responsible for new product APQP quality gate review to highlight and drive to close all open items at the customer representative point of the view.

· Acts as the OUR CLIENT liaison to external customer Supplier Development Engineering team on new product applications, build and enhance customer relationship,

· Maintains APQP status report to Quality management

Key Competencies:

· New product launch APQP quality experience,

· Familiar with customer requirement and process;

· Program / Project management knowledge and ability, experience are preferred;

· TS16949 automotive industry Quality system knowledge and experience

· Problem solving skills, such 8D, 5WHY, six sigma, Shainin, …preferred

· Product, process, quality engineering background

· Excellent teamwork, cross functional working experience and communication skill

· Good working attitude and ability to work at pressure

· Positive thinking / working style

· frequent travels are required
