Description:
The Senior Environment Artist will be responsible for creating top notch CG game art and to ensure the quality bar is met from the art team. The Senior Environment Artist will be responsible for creating and overseeing all aspects of modeling and texturing pertaining to environments and worlds, as well as the ability to take an idea from concept to final. This person should be evenly balanced in artistic and technical ability and be able to follow the vision as set forth by the Art Director and/or the Content Creation Guide. As a Senior Environment Artist you will be expected to possess leadership qualities, mentor junior and intermediate artists, grow the talent pool, and have direct input on workflow pipelines and processes. In addition The Senior Environment Artist is also expected to stay up to date on the latest technologies related to game art, and help optimize workflows through practice and hands on approach.
作为资深场景美术师或场景美术组长,要负责创作一流的CG游戏美术,确保美术团队的工作质量符合要求。要负责制作和监督与场景相关的模型和贴图,要有能力把原画中表达的想法呈现在最终作品中。在美学和技术上都有过硬的能力,并能够按照美术总监和/或内容制作指导的愿景开展工作。需要有领导能力,指导初级和中级美术师,培养人才,直接参与工作流程。此外,还需要时刻关注与游戏美术相关的最新技术,通过实践找到方法优化工作流程。
Requirements:
-Expert low and high polygon, organic and non-organic modeling and texturing skills primarily focused on asset and environment creation
精通低模和高模、无机和有机的建模和贴图技术,主要擅长物件和场景之作
-Ability to create realistic and stylized environments from concept
能够根据原画创作现实主义和风格化的场景
-Expert experience with mesh/UV mapping and multiple-pass texture layout
精通模型/UV 贴图和多贴图布线
-Expert in Maya, Photoshop, Zbrush or Mudbox
精通Maya、Photoshop、Zbrush 或 Mudbox
-Expert digital painting and texturing skills
精通数码绘画和贴图技巧
-High level of English and Mandarin proficiency
熟练的英语和中文
-3-5 years+ in games production or related field
3-5年游戏生产或相关领域经验
-Strong problem solving skills and the ability to produce with minimal supervision
较强的问题解决能力,能在最小的监督下进行生产
-Ability to communicate clearly and produce workflow documentation
能够进行顺畅的沟通交流,制作工作流程文档
-Past experience in leading and managing a small team of artists
