Position Purpose(Overview of the position)
This role provides assistance to Asia Pacific Travel Office encompassing all necessary travel management requirements
Key Roles and Responsibilities of Position
Indicate 6-8 major Roles & Responsibilities of the position.
Assist Asia Pacific Travel Office in managing all aspects of the Asia travel program (includes all Asia countries)
Understands and applies knowledge of the Ford Travel Policy. Communicates Ford's travel policy, reviews policy compliance and makes recommendations directly to Asia Pacific Travel Office. Provide appropriate feedback to questions on travel policy to local traveler in coordination with internal control team.
Ensures American Express reports "out-of-policy" activity to the traveler.
Applies American Express AIMS tool, where appropriate, to track all customer service issues and resolution by country. Collect inputs from travellers and/or stakeholders on supplier's performance and work out action plans, follow up on improvements.
Assist in crisis management, share information with travelers and provide assistance.
Responsible for regular travel reports, provide analysis support upon request.
Responsible for establishing and improve regular newsletter, Asia Pacific travel website.
Provide recommendation on travel program improvement to Asia Pacific Travel Office, follow up on initiations to improve travel program as required.
Facilitate and attend internal meetings (travel office meeting, department meeting and travel workshops/trainings).
Facilitate and attend external meetings with travel suppliers.
Support travel categories negotiations. Investigate travel markets and government policies that impact sourcing in travel categories.
Responsible for ACR, AFR and MCRP in Asia Pacific Travel Office.
Support Concur - create traveler profile, verify offline booking request, answer questions, escalate issues to Global Travel Office.
Follow up on unused tickets status to maximize savings to the company.
Safeguards confidential information, assets, processes and reputation of Ford Motor Company.

multi-national experience on commercial or purchasing or knowledge of travel industry
Preferred previous experiences
TMCs, airlines, hotel and rental car suppliers is preferred
Functional Skills
Fluent English skill in oral, reading and written.
Experienced in using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must have analytical skills and an ability to identify root causes and recommend solutions
Good negotiation & interpersonal skill, Interface effectively with global travel team and local stakeholders
Behavioural Skills
Must be energetic and enthusiastic: gets things done. Well organized.
Ability to work independently and represent the Company's interest first/foremost
