Tester within an agile team for the development of a WMS
You will cover an important role to ensure the quality of an agile team that works on a software that is used to manage and control highly automated warehouses.
We are developing a warehouse management product that focuses on the integration of all automation solutions that are developed by our company. The software is based on current Java EE technology. The frontend is a web based Client which uses GWT.
As an Agile Tester, you will work as a member of a cross-functional team to deliver business critical applications of high functional and technical quality. You will be responsible for working closely with the Development team, Product Owners and QMs to define acceptance criteria/test cases.
You will afterwards also execute the tests, document the test results systematically and track the progress if software changes are needed.
You are able to quickly learn new domains and share that understanding across the team.
You are passionate about helping to deliver working software.


Requirements
? Bachelor degree in economics or a technical subject
? Experience with Intralogistics and Material Management
? Knowledge of software development processes especially in an agile team
? Knowledge how to improve the ergonomics of the software (UX).
? Knowledge of different technologies (Java, XML, Subversion, Application Server, Databases (Oracle, MS-SQL), SQL)
? Knowledge of Version- and Configurationmanagement
? experience with a variety of testing approaches, including Exploratory Testing, Acceptance Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development
? experience with capturing user requirements using various formats, including use cases, user stories, UML
? Experience writing User Stories
? Experience defining and automating acceptance tests using tools including Selenium, WebDriver, JMeter or similar.
? Experience using Wikis for collaboration and documentation
? Experience testing web-based Java applications.
? Experience working in an Agile environment, preferably scrum.
? Excellent people skills dealing with numerous internal functions
? Strong communication skills and commercial awareness
? Fluent English (in writing and speaking)
? Readiness to travel
