DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
HR Consultancy:
1. Developing a deep understanding of the business operations and direction
2. Influencing the implementation and deployment of centre of excellence best practices and frameworks into the functional teams and supporting deployment.
3. Closely work with department management teams in implementing department objectives and goals through providing HR daily support, coaching and facilitation
4. Dealing with employee relations, disciplinary or grievance matters
5. Providing HR expertise/guidance on company policy/labor law
Organisation Development & Change Management:
1. Managing the organisation design to ensure the teams are structured to support a locally produced and imported car business.
2. Supporting the functional units business plans and leading discussions on future organisation development.
3. Taking a lead role in integrating the HR activity and ensuring plans are well thought through, communicated and deployed.
4. Headcount planning – working closely with the functional teams to understand the business requirements for the future and to help translate this requirement into strategic and well defined resource plans.
Developing Capabilities:
1. Developing functional HR people strategies detailing key functional activity in terms of resource, training, skills, recruitment or other activity.
2. Closely working with Recruitment to deliver clear strategic resource planning with high talent acquisition standards.
3. Fully understanding the competencies and potential of our people and driving functional teams to understand the processes, take ownership and develop employees.
4. Supporting and coaching line manager on employee performance management.
5. Support department on promotion, retention, talent development and succession planning.
Employee Engagement:
1. Proactive involvement in employee communication and engagement activities
2. Taking a lead role in employee engagement survey cascade and follow up action planning
HR Administration:
1. Providing generalist HR expert advice to the functional customers on areas of HR practice and working closely with the COE Teams to help improve the service received from the HR team overall.
2. Providing positive coordination and communication cross HR functional team to enhance working efficiency.
3. Pro active approach towards suggestions on HR process optimization and improvements
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE / POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor degree or above ideally in HR related subject.
2. Significant experience operating in a strategic Business Partner role
3. 8 years' working experience with strong business insight and expertise of general HR management in multinational companies.
4. Good command of both verbal and written Chinese and English; good command of MS office.
5. Ability to communicate with all levels of management and clients, and interact cross-functionally and cross-culturally.
6. Responsible, honest & committed.
7. Good team player, open minded, self-motivated and adapt to changes.
8. Willingness to travel if the role requires
