Job Responsibilities

1. Perform Supplier Assessments/lab inspections/audits as required;
2. Lead casting qualifications in China on components for Agricultural and Engineering Structural equipment.
3. Support cross-sector casting technical issues such as Powertrain component and other automotive component;
4. Ensure Supplier documentation is complete and adequate to deliver consistent, high quality product.
5. Maintain qualification files, specifications and technical documentation as Company requirements.
6. Resolve technical issues at suppliers.
7. Work with Sourcing to create and manage supplier development plans for new technology introduction, first-piece qualification and delivery across Company.
8. Deliver accurate, timely results to multiple customers within Company.
9. Represent Materials & Processes Engineering in global technology teams.


Requirements:

Education and Experience
1. BS degree or above in casting or related engineering;
2. Strong physical or process metallurgy background;
3. Minimum 3 years of working experience in iron casting is a must, familiar with green sand, resin sand, lost form process, gray iron, ductile iron and steel casting commodity;


General Skills
1. Ability and willingness to routinely travel within China.
2. Self-motivated; Self-starter.
3. Able to work efficiently without close supervision and under supplicated working environment.
4. Good interpersonal skills and global mindset;
5. Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese (Written & Verbal), able to communicate with internal customers in US, Europe, and Brazil.


Technical Skills
1. Familiar with GD&T and casting part inspection procedure;
2. Basic knowledge with tooling, casting process, casting defects/cause and inspection procedures.
3. Understand quality tools of APQP、PPAP、8D 、FMEA、MSA、SPC.
4. Demonstrated track record of ownership and ability to deliver results.
5. Experience in heat treatment.
6. Experience with failure analysis or non-destructive testing (NDT).
7. Understand the international casting appearance standard; (MSS SP-55 or related standard)


Candidates who have experiences with these companies are preferred:
1. Previous work experience in an international manufacturing company.
2. Experience in casting of Agricultural and Engineering Structural field.
