Facility Manager Job Purpose:
Supports company operations by maintaining office and lab operations, procedures, and supervising staff.


Facility Manager Job Duties:
1. Maintain office and lab efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement.
2. Manage interactions with all facilities vendors(vendor selection, oversight, budgeting) and ensure proper level of service quality
3. Keep management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends.
4. Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
5. Maintain staff job results by coaching, counseling, and developing employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
6. Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
7. Design and implement office and lab policies, standards and procedures making necessary adjustments.
8. Organize operations and procedures
a) Review and approve office and lab supply requisitions
b) Define procedures for record retention
c) Ensure protection and security of files and records
9. Conduct strategic Space planning and optimization
10. Develop and implement capital project for expansion, modification and upgrad


Skills/Qualifications:
1. Bachelor degree on business, administration or engineering.
2. 5 years and above experiences in facility and administration management, R&D facility management is a plus.
3. Hands on with budgeting, operation, vendor management, capital planning and execution process.
4. Knowledge on corporate real estate and contract management.
