Essential Requirements:
1 Minimum Bachelor’s degree majored in Communications
2 Minimum 3 years’ experience in Communication industry in a technical selling role
3 Technical Background in communications industry with preference to Railway applications (ie Signalling, CBTC, on-board Wi-Fi, GSM-R, PIS or TCN)
4 Customer oriented attitude and Relationship development
5 Persistent and can demonstrate initiative to develop new business
6 Good communication skills in English written and oral
Main tasks, duties, authorization limits and deputy functions:
1 In Consultation with Regional Sales Manager, define the sales strategies for development of Communications business and product fit within the China Railway market
2 Work with the respective Account Managers define the account plan and ensure the implementation of such plans
3 Pay frequent visits to key customers and maintain good relationship at appropriate levels within customers organisations and End Users
4 Achieve sales targets and budgets as agreed with management
5 Proactively search new business opportunities
6 Understand customers’ needs, Sell by value and Design in
7 Product presentation, product introduction, and program management, involving internal resources to achieve sales grow
8 Participate actively in providing local contribution to the global key accounts
9 Seek new sales opportunities with new and existing customers
10 Advise management of events and status of customers and market situations
11 Be a team player, involving others to achieve sales growth & customer satisfaction
12 Maintain vigilance on Competitor’s products, technology offering and pricing in the target market
13 Report activities monthly to management (including progress, road blocks, and trends).
14 Ensure GMS / IRIS processes are followed and collaborate with continual improvement programs.
15 Provide other services and duties as directed by management discretion
