PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The goal for a team leader is, together with the group he/she is responsible for, to reach the goals and tasks of the Distribution Center, in frame of his/her task and responsibilities.

ASSIGNMENTS:
? Lead and train the group he/she is responsible for
? Represent his group inside and outside IKEA within assigned job scope
? Implement all coming tasks from the Deputy Warehouse Manager
? Leading employee talk ( praise and criticism-talk, development-talk )
? Assist the Deputy Warehouse Manager to plan short-term and long-term department tasks to ensure a positive and efficient flow of products through the DC
? Responsible for the safety of co-workers and the working conditions of the workplace
? Work together with his group in a most effective and efficient manner
? Train the co-workers and improve their competence
? Liaise with other relevant departments as needed
? Other ad hoc tasks as assigned.




KNOWLEDGE:
? Above 4 year Knowledge about the warehouse business
? At least 1 year Experience as a leader
? Knowledge in association with personal Computers and warehouse management systems
? Good English leve

The only Low Flow DC in Asia Pacific located in Shanghai Seaport Development Zone of Fengxian District has started operation since Dec.1,2008. With a registered investment over US$270 million, DC Fengxian, covering an area about forty thousand square metres, upon completion, Fengxian DC will be the largest of its kind in Asia Pacific and one of the largest foreign-funded warehouses in China.

Meanwhile, IKEA's only product test laboratory outside Sweden is also established in this location.
