PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The program will help participant gain broad understanding of logistics and prepare them for senior leadership roles. After 18-24 months on-job training rotating in 3 core logistics line roles, participants will be ready to take a functional management team or similar level position in DSAP.

The program will strengthen succession plan of DSAP management teams and to secure new leadership positions in the coming years.

The program will also aim to enhance competence flow of management team level between different IKEA business units.

ASSIGNMENTS:

1) Rotation in 3 logistics line roles across regions and functions during 18-24 months.

·Front line operational position

·Business Navigation

· Business development

2) Leading or contributing to a logistics related project in parallel

3) Optional assignments are available for participants who have experience in any of the three core assignments already.

KNOWLEDGE:

·Experience and understanding of IKEA logistics working method, process, network in Asia pacific.

·Holistic views of IKEA supply chain.

·IKEA value chain

Requirements:

·3+ years logistics or related experience

·Excellent communication in English

·Proven leadership experience

·Experience and knowledge of project management

·Understanding and passion for IKEA culture and value

·High commitment to the program

·High mobility is preferred
