Job Description
European retailer is looking for a Merchandiser focused on Kids swimwear follow up. The candidate will be located in Shanghai in the sourcing office and will report directly to the Senior Merchandiser and Category Manager. We need someone who work for kids swimwear ( at least ladys' swimwear ) at least 2 years.
His main responsibility will be to follow, support and coordinate the workflow in order to ensure the proper process of the production, quality and shipment.
Responsibilities include:
Negotiate with supplier the prices, delivery date and other terms.
Watching closely the order process from sourcing to shipment.
Foresee the problems and opportunities.
Follow up the administrative process of the order.
Assist during sourcing and negotiation process.
Fluent and daily communication with suppliers and buyers.
Available to travel in mainland china and abroad if necessary
Skills & Experience
Required Experience/skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
At least 1-2 years'experience from equal position in textile market
College's degree or above.
Organized, planner, be able to work under pressure.
Fluent in English (oral & written)
Mastering Reporting tools (Excel, Word, PP, etc..)
With the passion and good feeling for fashion. Interested with children's garments
Responsible, honest & reliable.
Appreciated Experienced/Skills: (not compulsory)
Preferable knowing European market or previous European company.
Major in English/Business or Textiles is preferred.
