JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Quality Project Leader
Working Location: Shanghai
1． PURPOSE目的
To ensure Product Quality there must be a Quality Engineer / Quality Project Leader (QPL) assigned to every development project:
– Full-time or partly, depending on project size and complexity.
– Responsible for all product quality aspects
The key responsibility of a QE/ QPL is preventing problems by closing the loop :
– Assure validated specifications (Functional / Quality / Application / System)
– Implement preventive Way of Working (Learning / Risk Management)
– Drive use of Quality methods & tools (inc. DfSS)
– Take the lead to solve quality issues during project
– Define & ensure execution of the Quality Test plan
– Organize transfer ( for Quality Control Plan and CTQs only )(NPI, Industry, Suppliers, Service, Customer Care)

- Drive product quality activities and process improvement in GDC
- Drive and execute IQP in GDC innovation project if applicable
- Build up and manage product quality
- Quality target setting and follow up for series LE product
- Maintain and continuously develop the quality management systems and drive quality assurance, quality control quality improvement with methodology and a systemic approach, implementing and monitoring the proper tools, metrics and controls

– To work with development project team, and support NPI, OQC of manufactory.

3． PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES主要工作职责

– Drive product quality activities and process improvement in GDC
– Drive and execute IQP in GDC innovation project if applicable
– Build up and manage product quality
– Quality target setting and follow up for series LE product
– Maintain and continuously develop the quality management systems and drive quality assurance, quality control quality improvement with methodology and a systemic approach, implementing and monitoring the proper tools, metrics and controls
– Lead product quality process to ensure project quality interventions contribute to cycle time reduction and quality risk mitigation.
– Work closely with the development to support new product introductions and contributing to successful launches and timely and effectively resolving project quality and product reliability issues.

4. MAJOR CHALLENGES主要挑战
– Describe the most challenging and complex part of the position.

– Organize regular quality review inside project team, to find the outstand issue in time;
– Update the latest quality status for traceability of each project;
– Attend regular project review meeting, present design quality status during milestone meeting;
– Coordinate with project manager and relevant discipline managers for outstanding issues and solve them priorly;
– Follow up front design quality activities which systematically direct to QTP,CTQ, IQP and design review etc.
– Maintain the quality tool/ database/ metrics to certain quality issue tracking & provide transparency platform for close issue.

5. JOB REQUIREMENTS岗位要求
– The position requires the following personal capabilities and competence for acceptable performance:

– a)Education: Bachelor of science
– b)Experience: at least 5 year in development quality experience
– c)Travel Frequency: <25%
– d)Competency and Skills: Good communication and good English
– e)Personal Attributes: Good adaptability and capability to deal with pressure
