The Husqvarna Group is the world’s largest producer of chainsaws, lawn mowers and other petrol-powered garden equipment such as trimmers and leaf blowers, as well as one of the world’s largest producers of garden tractors. Husqvarna is also one of the world’s largest producers of cutting equipment for the construction and stone industries. The product offering comprises equipment for both consumers and professional users. Yearly net sales is USD 4,1 billion and the average number of employees is 15,500. Husqvarna’s shares are quoted on Stockholm Stock Exchange.

In 2008, Husqvarna acquired Jenn Feng Outdoor Products operations and established Husqvarna (China) Machinery Manufacturing Co. Ltd. This business accounts for approximately 100 MUSD and 1000 employees. The primary role of this company is to provide the group with a low cost production basis for opening price points finished products targeted to the consumer segment. Also, the factory has developed a direct business-to-business relationship with OEM customers located primarily in USA and Europe.
