You will join a team of 4 people and report to the manager for RLO APAC Packaging. The mission for this group is to secure packaging availability in the Volvo supply chain in APAC. You will work close with regional balance controller, regional planner and be part of a support team of 7 people supporting approximately 600 material suppliers/packaging users within APAC. This implies education, conversation and sometimes rather challenging discussions with suppliers and plants in Asia.
In the Customer support role you actively support material suppliers/packaging users with education or advice on different issues or questions related to packaging areas. You also take part in implementations of new packaging users and you are also responsible to drive optimization/development of these packaging users according to agreed measurements. The role also involves being able to take the lead/drive meetings with packaging users to sort out issues/questions with a successful outcome.

Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Provide qualified daily support for the packaging users answering questions or clear out issues or perform training.
Drive education of new packaging users within the Packaging concept.
Identify and handle packaging deviations within operations of the packaging users or in relation to the packaging user contract.
To have an overall understanding of the Packaging (V-EMB) concept within AB Volvo.
Secure business and contract policies in relation to the financial framework provided by AB Volvo.
Participate in projects as an expert of packaging user relations.
Professional team player with networking abilities both internally and externally.
Acting as specialist/competence centre regarding packaging user support for other regions.
Secure results and deliveries for the area of responsibility according to agreed performance levels.
Follow and develop statistics and reporting indicators and drive agreed actions. Background and Key competencies:

University degree and/or education in relevant field or experience to equivalent level
Experience from support functions, supplier relations and packaging environment is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken) are required.
Accurate in administrative work and comfortable in multitasking.
Good at building relationships and networking skills.
Service minded, flexible and enjoys teamwork.
Analytical skills.
Takes initiatives and have ability and drive to work independently.
Project experience is an advantage.
Business focus and commercial competence.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn new systems.
The location of this position will be in Shanghai and occasional travelling can be required
