Key Focus

? Compliance with regulatory requirements related to handling of regulated substance in the Shanghai lab.
? Oversight of required safety measures for handling of regulated substances in the Shanghai lab.
? Obtain required licenses for the purchase of regulated chemicals for use in the Shanghai lab.

Accountabilities
? Ensure programs are in place for compliance with local regulations related to handling of regulated chemicals.
? Coordinate required safety activities related to safe handling of regulated chemicals in the lab, including safety inspections, appropriate training and emergency response plans.
? Coordinate other regulatory requirements related to the lab operations.

Responsibilities
? Work with lab chemists and purchasing as necessary to obtain required licenses and to maintain required data.
? Coordinate safety activities related to lab operations

Requirements
? Bachelor Degree or above with major in Chemisty, Chemical Engineering or equivalent

Experience desired but not required:
? 1-2 years’ experience in the chemical industry in a regulatory compliance role or as lab chemist

Language Requirements:
? Chinese
? English writing preferred but not required.
? English speaking desired.
