The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 year capital management experience in insurance industry, with financial planning /analysis, capital modeling and risk management background as well as great communication skill in English. The primary responsibilities of this position include:
1. Lead the analysts in the team with limited supervision to execute business planning and financial analysis of AIG subsidiaries for Federal Reserve and AIG internal stress testing.
2. Work closely with various business functions to standardize and improve projection and stress testing process and implement governance and control around the entire process for quality assurance.
3. Lead analysts to complete rating agency capital model calculation and analysis for AIG subsidiary companies and take initiative to streamline the process and prepare good documentation.
4. Develop regular AIG capital management dashboard, maintain corresponding database and develop online tool to improve process workflow and analysis.
5. Work closely with various business divisions to conduct capital management related analysis for better strategic decision-makings.
6. Support head of Capital and risk management to expand team's role to better support regional and head office's capital management function.
7. Other ad-hoc projects that relate to capital management.



1. BS degree or higher from top University with accounting / Finance/Actuary/Financial Engineering major
2. 6+ years of experience working in financial services industry, preferably with experience at global property/casualty insurance company or insurance service firms
3. Knowledgeable on GAAP and US statutory accounting rules, familiar with solvency regime and international accounting or P&C actuarial job experience a plus
4. Excellent written and oral communication skills
5. Good interpersonal skill and management capability, strong sense of responsibility
6. Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with team members, business resources and third parties
