Job Responsibilities:

Provide support through running regular processes and participation in projects for
P&C Finance Actuarial. The role involves supporting key reserving activities across
AIG and assist in capital modeling projects from a Finance Actuarial perspective. As a Key team member, the role should be able to improve process, supervise analysts and expand responsibility.
More specifically, this involves:
1. Assist in the process around Legal Entity reserve estimates, both gross and net of Reinsurance
2. Assist with the Management Information and impact of claims initiatives
3. Assist in production of key reserving results and analytics to take key stakeholders (internal and external to actuarial) through the results.
4. Provide inputs into actuarial reporting
5. Assist in the business planning process around Legal Entity and production office Loss Ratios process


Requirements:

1. Bachelors degree or equivalent in Mathematics/Actuarial Science
2. Associate/Fellow of an Actuarial Institute with P&C focus
3. More than five years in P&C actuarial field, managerial experience preferred
4. Proven proficiency in actuarial concepts/methodologies
5. Great knowledge of general insurance including underwriting policies, P&C insurance products and claims handling policies
6. Excellent analytical skill, good computer skills (Microsoft Excel/Access/PowerPoint, VBA, etc.) and experience with actuarial modeling software (e.g. SAS, ResQ and Igloo)
7. Good interpersonal skill, strong sense of responsibility
8. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
9. Ability to work under own initiative and show flexibility to meet business needs
10. Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize own work
11. Professional behavior with high level of integrity
