We are looking for an experienced business intelligence professional to create and drive a business intelligence strategy for EF Labs that will enable agile data-driven decision making in all levels of the organization.

You will lead efforts in identifying Big Data opportunities to derive targeted strategies aimed at improving customer acquisition, retention and engagement. You will build the framework and tools that bring together data from marketing, sales, operations and product development and design and conduct relevant analyses to enable timely reaction to the data.You will become an integral part of the executive team in defining opportunities, developing insights, highlighting threats and unearthing opportunities specific or especially relevant to a subscription business.

Responsibilities

?Define business intelligence and data requirements and roadmap for the organization by working closely with product, sales, operations and marketing teams.
?Identify Big Data opportunities to transform BI into a strategic investment in decision support rather than a tactical, after-the-fact reporting system.
?Drive infrastructure improvements, create enterprise datasets, select analytic tools, improve data capture, management, and utilization practices.
?Review, develop and maintain EF Labs BI and CRM tools and infrastructure.
?Lead efforts in digital marketing analytics and customer journey behaviour analysis.
?Establish a Center of excellence or agile BI organization

Desired Skills and Experience

Key Requirements
?Bachelor degree or above
?Proven record of building BI solutions and teams
?Experience in developing agile database reporting applications or in database architecture
?Extensive knowledge and experience with BI and data warehouse concepts
?Ability and desire to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
?Knowledgeable in Big Data trends and development of BI solutions
?Creativity and intuition. Balances the art and science of advanced analytics
?Business savvy
?Excellent communication and presentation skills
?Highly committed work ethic
?Data visualization skills, techniques, experience and tools
?Data manipulation, cleansing, feed creation/refinement and associated programming skills in SQL, NoSQL, and scripting languages
?Fluency in English
?Ability for and interest in international travel required (several times per year)

Additional Skills and Experience
?Experience working with BI in the following industries: credit card, telecommunications, hospitality, online, consumer banking or insurance
?Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server
?Experience with Qlikview (or similar tools)
?Knowledge of Hadoop/MapReduce
?Experience with digital marketing, subscription business, online business
?Knowledge of data analytics, data mining, statistical modelling, machine learning, time series analysis
