Primary and Major Responsibilities:
1 Manage applications team working with R@D and test teams to develop new products, support existing products and conduct competition analysis. The applications team’s work includs:
- Work with design team to define specifications for high performance power management products
- New product bench validation and trouble shooting
- Develop standard product demo boards
- Provide applications solutions for existing and new products
- Generate datasheets, application notes, training materials and product competition analysis reports
- Provide technical support and training seminars to AE/FAE, sales, and key customers
- Failure analysis on customer complaints
2 Mentor less experienced engineers
3 Prioritize multiple projects and requests based on the team’s bandwidth
4 Maximize the team’s work efficiency and set goals for the team and team members


Qualifications& Pre-requisites:
1 BSEE with 10+ years or MSEE with 8+ years of design experience of power supplies or application
engineering in power IC industry.
2 Must have solid hands-on experience and handle projects in person
3 Deep system and applications knowledge in DC/DC converters and battery chargers including control
theory, system architecture, topologies and components
4 Must be self-motivated, results-oriented and passionate team player
5 Combination of strong engineering background and business sense is plus
6 Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English
