Web Services Developer/Team Lead (Full Time)

Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop enhancements to the GBI Web Services portfolio in C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server under set deadlines and technical specifications
2. Develop highly complex code that automates key data retrieval tasks and business rules. Create highly complex, customized applications to enhance mobile application capability based on business needs
3. Perform tuning of existing code to enhance performance
4. Participate in code peer reviews team design sessions
5. Resolve complex production support problems by identifying issues and recommending solutions
6. Investigate and resolve matters of significance for end-user problems and escalate if necessary. Identify issues and gather information; determine and recommend courses of action
7. Help develop, document and enforce modern Software Engineering standards and best practices
8. Work with GBI's Health Care Products Team to address requirements, usability, accessibility, security, and change requests to ensure product functionality. Identify potential issues and recommend solutions
9. Create test plans, and report test results. Work with outside vendors as necessary, in developing tests to ensure future site functionality
10. Research, track, and understand new development technologies to provide technical leadership in developing enterprise web services. Make and implement recommendations for new policies and procedures
11. Oversee cost management for Web Services projects. Perform necessary quality assurance activities to ensure optimum functionality
12. Provide leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel

Basic Qualifications：
13. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
14. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred
15. Six or more years of experience developing .Net applications in a high availability, load balanced environment with strong background in good software development life-cycle practices
16. 5 years’ experience with unit Testing and testing frameworks
17. 5 years C#, ASP.NET development experience
18. 5 years developing Windows Communications Framework (.WCF) web services
19. 5 years’ experience with SOAP and REST protocols
20. 2 years’ experience developing integration with external services such as email and SMS
21. Possess a general curiosity of emerging development tools and trends
Highly Desired candidates with the following skills & experience:
22. Familiarity with developing healthcare or similarly data-sensitive applications
23. Familiarity with HIPAA and other healthcare security standards
24. Familiarity with non-SQL databases, particularly MongoDB
25. Familiarity with non-Microsoft protocols and tools, particularly Thrift
