JOB DESCRIPTION
Ocean Optics is a rapidly growing, diversified electro-optics technology company and a global leader in solutions for optical sensing. Our extensive line of complementary technologies includes spectrometers, optical sensors, metrology instrumentation, light sources, sampling accessories, fibers and probes. Recognized as the inventor of miniature fiber optic spectroscopy, Ocean Optics enables new applications and markets by bringing traditional lab-based measurements direct to the sample. Primary Function
Due to strong market growth we are expanding. In this Sales and Business Development role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth in East of China area. The following responsibilities should be taken:
Direct Sales:
Responsible for generating new sales opportunity for assigned territory
Identifying and recruiting strategic partners
Promotes and sells products and/or solutions to current or new customers/partners and informs customers of new product introductions.
Create, monitor and revises lead generation plans.
Responsible for developing customers and maintaining their satisfaction. Maintains positive ongoing long-term relationships with key customers.
Responsible for developing new application to open new market
Channel Sales:
Responsible for the managing either of a list of channel partners and/or a partner in a given geography.
Responsible for the channel quota development, as well as the partners' and end users' satisfaction.
Managing relationships and business plan as well as associated activities such as
marketing, advertising, sales promotions, training and other Channel-related support.
Technical Support:
Responsible for answer the technical questions from end user and distributors
Prepare material for distributor training, seminar and other marketing events
Responsible for creating new application note
Marketing:
Responsible for investigating, planning and leading the marketing events in assigned territory
Support other colleague for marketing event in other territory when necessary
Responsible for collecting marketing information, competitor information
Responsible for help the marketing department locate and maintain contact with KOL
Establish Joint-Lab with key institutes and organizations
Requirements:
Bachelor degree or above with major of Chemistry or Optical Electronic Engineering is preferred
At least three year experiences in sales, ideally experience in spectrometer and spectroscopy
Experiences with channel management is a plus
Strong communication skills and good at conflict management is a must
Must be discipline, be able to work solely and across a small team
Fluent English in both speaking and writing is required
