Position Purpose/Summary
The objective of this role is to support sales force productivity and effectiveness by:
? Establishing a technical and soft skills training program for new and existing sales employees
? Facilitating training programs, tracking progress and measuring effectives
? Supporting sales and marketing process improvement, sales metrics / scorecard development, and key global initiatives in the region.
Key Areas of Responsibility
? Understand stakeholder analysis, sales training needs analysis, and observation of sales needs
? Develop and roll-out technical and soft skills training programs in the region.
? Develop processes and systems to track training deployment and measure effectiveness
? Support the development and delivery of training to key locations, remote locations and through various mediums including classroom training, online training, and simulations.
? Influence internal and external customers on the benefits of training.
? Establish and monitor the tracking of key Sales Productivity scorecards, metrics and opportunities for improvement in the region
? Support global Sales Operations project implementations for the region, as and when they occur
? Promote the value of the skills and advice of the team/individual.
? Provide solutions to training requests and produce timely proposals.
Experience
? Classroom training experience in presenting technical training programs.
? Demonstrated project management skills.
? Experience in delivering training projects that satisfy client needs.
? Demonstrated experience in project implementation or process improvement
Professional Skills / Knowledge
? Possess highly developed written and oral communication skills.
? Strong presentation, facilitation and consultancy skills.
? Possession of analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills.
? Sound knowledge of training needs analysis, development, delivery and evaluation techniques, including contemporary adult learning techniques.
? Demonstrated capacity to implement competency-based training practices and to measure their impact on workplace training and assessment.
? Highly desirable to have sensor, switches, components or industrial market experience
