职位描述

Job Description:

1. Establish all Asian commodity contracts on terms that best protect TTI while coordinating ongoing improvement of supplier quality, price, and delivery performance.
2. Manage cross-functional supplier negotiations and act as the primary TTI leader in conducting and completing negotiations for Asian suppliers.
3. Monitors supply trends and conditions in anticipation of price changes and to avoid supply interruptions and to identify areas of possible savings
4. Develops procurement strategy for major categories of spend and establishes preferred suppliers and system for ensuring supply quality
5. Selects suppliers, assesses vendor capabilities, develops alternate sources, and evaluates vendor performance in order to secure cost-effective sources for products and services, while assuring they meet Quality, Sustainability, Qualification and Compliance requirements
6. Works closely with Planning, Inventory and Manufacturing to ensure supply needs are met. Drive process improvements to ensure effective and strategic inventory management. Maintain SOP’s as required.
7. Oversees negotiations and maintenance of relationships with freight carriers to ensure lowest possible rate, and helps resolve logistics issues
8. Is responsible for the overall performance and direction of purchase of commodities; for the development, coordination and performance of cross-functional sourcing teams.

Job Requirements:
1. Travel throughout Asia (Vietnam, Korea, China).
2. Understanding of Asian Markets.
3. Advanced degree in Business Administration or related field plus 2+ Years in Purchasing and executing strategic sourcing projects, including Electronic Components.
4. Experience using ERP/MRP system.
5. Results oriented with ability to create/identify/capture cost savings opportunities. Strong management skills.
6. Effective at negotiating prices, T & C's, and incentives for major and/or Global agreements
7. Seeks to leverage detailed cost savings modeling and uses total cost perspective. Flexible and proactive.
8. Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, strong listening skills, inclusive in decision making environment.
9. Ability to work with all levels of an organization and easily accepts constructive input from others.
10. Aptitude for technical topics and able to communicate with technical professionals.
11. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
12. Track record of contributing to evolution of supply chain processes and continuous improvement of strategic sourcing.
13. Strong analytical skills and problem solving ability.
14. Required Min Degree: Bachelors
