Director of Strategic Projects（新事业发展部）
DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS
？ Play an active role in screening and identifying new business opportunities for the company in smart energy, low carbon and clean technology areas, which are consistent with the corporate strategy and the management’s expectations. Work in close co-operation with the management teams in order to value the potential synergies.
？ Follow up on the state-of-art technologies in the market, conduct in-depth analysis on feasible business models, develop multi-year business plan and deal proposal to submit to the management.
？ Prepare market and company analysis in order to identify project leads, consistent with corporate strategy and pre-set selection criteria. Present deal analysis and rationale to top management for obtaining approval to proceed.
？ Lead the taskforce to nurture the identified new business areas before growing into a sizable operation.
？ Support cross-Business Unit execution of strategic projects, in line with the corporate regulation and process, to realize the effective execution of the deal structuring, valuation, negotiation, due diligence, integration planning and closing of strategic projects.
？ Facilitate and coordinate negotiation, develop deal structure and control deal process.
？ High team spirit.
？ Based in Changzhou (corporate headquarter). Job grade (Director or Manager) and reporting manager will depend on candidate’s qualification.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
？ Minimum 10 years of working experience with substantial hands-on project experience, relevant experiences in VC, PE or corporate functions preferred.
？ Relevant experience in nurturing new businesses and any start R up/incubator experience is a plus.
？ Knowledge of and interest in the state-of-art technologies, business and financial models in the market.
？ Master/PHD in Engineering and technical fields preferred.
？ Strong oral, written and communication (Chinese and English) skills, multiple-language proficiency is a plus.
？ Strong analytical skills, and executive-level presentation experience is a must.
？ Result-driven, with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
？ Demonstrated IT application skills (MS Office Suite) - Work, Excel and PowerPoint.
