Develop local supplier base, in accordance with corporate quality standards and within competitive cost, to support the company’s sourcing projects.
1. Source, survey and qualify local suppliers for sourcing projects and production materials and negotiate favorable contract terms and conditions with them.
2. Ensure and/or work with local suppliers on proper process control, quality assurance, cost competence, timeliness and supply continuity.
3. Work with SPE and the Marketing to run cost down or VAVE projects. Negotiate with suppliers on yearly PPV savings.
4. Work as a project coordinator and/or sourcing project leader with other departments and locations.
5. Support Commodity Manager’s collaboration with suppliers to drive supplier continuous improvement initiatives (for e.g. recyclable packing material, supplier sustainability plan, CSR and EHS improvement).

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor Degree in Engineering;
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in domestic purchasing/sourcing, preferably in a multi-national manufacturing environment;
3. Basic understanding of how other departments contribute to overall business;
4. Adaptability;
