Key Responsibilities of a Business Intelligence Analyst:

1) Exhibit a high level of expertise and confidence in driving business decisions using a combination of data and business acumen
2) Create dashboards for all departments throughout company specifically Marketing
3) Create reports that provide actionable insights with Recommendations
4) Identify weak areas of the business and develop solutions to the problems
5) Perform insightful analyses by integrating internal and external data sources to predict customer behaviors for different programs
6) Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics, and experience with SQL, PLSQL, T-SQL, SPSS, and/or SAS
7) Participate in defining and conducting research and analysis in order to create data-driven insights about customer behavior from all aspects of the business including but not limited web data, historical behavioral data, demographic data, and macro economic indicators
8)Think outside the box to come up with new insightful and innovative ways to answer questions

Characteristics of a Successful Candidate:
1) A Bachelor's degree in an analytical or technical field, such as math/statistics, economics, research, information services, marketing analytics, and/or computer science
2) 2-3 years experience working with databases
3) Experience working with a Business Intelligence product
4) Strong experience working with data and deriving business solutions using data
5) Experience creating and automating reports and dashboards
6) Experience using advanced features of Google Analytics
7) Solid analytic and problem-solving skills, detail oriented mind set and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
8) Strong presentation skills and able to interact with all levels of management and all users at different technical levels of expertise
9) Strong work ethic and self driven
