Position Overview
This position will coordinate all PMI Shanghai quality team activities with the direction form PMI Seattle quality team

Essential Functions
1. Promote process quality control in all our factories and assist factories in developing project based process control plans.
2. Lead and organize the PMI Shanghai QC in close monitoring of our factories execution of project process control plans.
3. Coordinated process control efforts by participating in the product development process, and maintaining excellent communication across our global Quality Team and across all PMI offices.
4. Monitor factory's on-time delivery and quality control performance. Work with QE in Seattle to created and maintain an efficient tracking tool.
5. Train and educate new factories in compliance with PMI's process control and quality standards.
6. Mentor and train QC staff on Process QE and Six Sigma.
7. Lead, organize and manage the PMI Shanghai QC team by setting project quality management priorities, communication, training and organizational needs. Do this with strategic direction from the dialogue with Director-Quality.
8. Adhere to PMI policies and support Management decisions and goals in a positive, professional manner.
9. Represent PMI with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
10. Determine if factory or product process control/level and quality standard are appropriate. Provide input to Factory Management on factory quality goals and level of attainment.
11. Determine the quality to cost value and consistently maintain appropriated PMI quality level I collaboration with Director-Quality.
12. Provide process control, quality engineering training to factories and team.
13. Develop system to measure the appropriateness of process control plan by factories with quantifiable measures.
14. Provide project process control and product quality information to PMI PD team to insure continuous process improvement in design and engineering work.

Additional responsibilities
1. From: Design Engineers- PD Project Process Control Plan review and first sample review for quality process evaluation.
2. To: Production: Insure quality process, standards are well defined for production, insure close monitoring of factories execution of all process control plan, hand off complete project file with process control plan.
3. To Director-Quality: Monthly review of all factories implementation and training on process control.

Education and Experience
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Mathematics, or equivalent.
2. Minimum 10 years related working experience.
