Position Overview
Support the creative development team in the production of exceptional visual and technical design drawings.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with Creative Development team in producing innovative product solutions.
2. Guide industrial and graphic designers to produce realistic designs and outstanding CAD drawings.
3. Provide technical input to the creative process.
4. Highly flexible and good understanding of commercial operation cycle. Detailed oriented, good sense of meeting deadlines and able to manage multi-tasks.
5. Adhere to PMI policies and support Management decisions and goals in positive, professional manner.
Additional Responsibilities

1. A 3D/CAD Modeler collaborates with the Industrial and Graphic design team to produce visual and technical design drawings, and reports to the Director of Creative Development.
2. Perform other duties as assigned.

Proficiencies

1. Strong 3D software skills with in depth professional knowledge of various 3D software, for example, 3D Studio Max, Solidworks, Rhino etc.
2. Speed in producing CAD drawings and renderings.
3. Knowledge in materials and manufacturing processes, e.g. Stainless Steel, Plastic, Glass and Ceramic.
4. Understanding of engineering restrictions for the above materials.
5. Ability to work accurately with close attention to detail.
6. Ability to communicate with third parties to arrange prototypes.
7. Solid word processing and computer database skills.
8. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work with individuals and groups at all organization levels; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Ability to balance a complex workload and prioritize tasks; good time-management, organizational, problem-prevention and problem-solving skills.
10. Ability to study and apply new information
11. Exhibit a professional, business like appearance and demeanor.
12. Good written and oral communication skills; with fluency in written and spoken English.


Education and Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/ Product Design/Engineering or equivalent related experience.
2. 3+ years of experience in developing working CAD drawings and renderings.
3. Experience in working in a creative team.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing technology, mechanism and materials in evaluating the feasibility for production.
5. Past experience in prototype production and management.
