Program Manager
? Directs the manufacturing operations and set up the new plant in Anqing, China facility, responsible for P&L Performance .
? Define the manufacturing plans with management team based on financial and operations performance. For example: EBITDA, delivery, quality, headcount, net working capital, investment, etc.
? Plans and coordinates actions for new capital projects at the facility. Determines and justifies to senior management improvements to the facility and equipment.
? Responsible for the management of manpower, material and equipment resources.
? Evaluates current manufacturing techniques to include equipment, process flow, manpower and materials and makes recommendations to Management.
? Maintains an effective rapport with vendors, customers, labor unions and government officials in order to have stability at the work site.
? Prepares necessary reports on labor utilization, productivity, and manufacturing expenses, explaining any variances to plan.
? Implements new processes or products and provides management with progress reports. Responsible for the efficient transfer of products and processes from other facilities.
? Advocates and supports the continuous improvement and constraints management process in manufacturing ensuring the follow up on process improvement recommendations and implementation.
? Maintains a safe, clean work environment and ensures that operation’s equipment, facility and processes are in conformance with government and local EHS regulations.
Requirements:
? At least five years experience at a senior management level with multi-national companies in China.
? Experience in Operations and Lean Manufacturing techniques required. Good understanding of business finances a plus.
? Strong background in new plant setting up would be ideal.
? Experience with program / project management preferred.
? Fluency in English and Chinese language skills a must. Other languages such as German would be a plus.
? Four year college degree in automotive, mechanical, sales or other related field. Masters degree preferred.
