Job Purpose:
To manage internal audits in mainly in Asia but also collaboratively with Internal Audit elsewhere in the Group. Specifically to agree a risk based internal audit plan covering China, (ROC and PRC), Korea, Japan. Singapore and India. To carry out main risk audits in the organisations functional areas. To work closely with senior stakeholders in the business to provide assurance and support over internal controls and that risks are mitigated.
Key Responsibilities:
? To develop and agree an Audit Plan for the region.
? To participate in Group Main Risk Audit.
? To develop, manage and implement an internal independent IS audit process to provide assurance and improve control efficiently. Participate in the implementation of the IS Audit process; this will include review of the development of IS security and programmes as well as specific audit of ERP and databases.
? To develop and contribute to the implementation of functional areas outside if IS.as directed.
? To contribute to fraud investigation as required.
? To continuously improve measures to ensure the audit systems maintain and improve efficiency and reduce risk exposure.
? Provide ongoing training globally on ABC and other relevant compliance training.
? To assist in the development of and to implement an n awareness campaign on risk.
? To manage data analysis on ERP; define, agree and implement a specification for transactional overview and trend analysis.
? Represent the Director of Internal Audit regionally To advise and influence managers and key stakeholders by adding insight and awareness of emerging Internal Audit and control issues.
? To build strong relationships with the business in APAC and with senior managers and staff within the Group.
? Manage audit planning and delivery of an agreed risk based audit plan.
? Assist the Director, Internal Audit and legal and HR functions within the context of Audit, Risk Management Compliance and Internal Control. Contribute, influence and participate in global audit initiatives.
? Other duties and tasks as may be required.
Person Specification:
Required:
? Qualified accountant
? Strong Financial Controller experience
? Solid ERP experience
? Proven IS audit and IT security experience
? Good risk audit experience
? Good CAAT experience
? Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
? Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese, Excellent English written and spoken
? Ability to travel globally. (30%)
Desired:
? SOX experience
? SQL or VBA experience
? Korean or Japanese language.
