Foreign Joint Venture Company seeks an experienced Testing Engineer to manage our developing product testing division and provide technical feedback to our engineers, quality control department, suppliers and customers about test results, product/ component reliability & improvement as well as make professional suggestions for feasible cost down measures.

Candidates should predominantly come from an engineering background and have experience with both mechanical & electrical engineering, product testing and failure analysis. It would be extremely beneficial for the candidate to have good experience in AQPQ and/or DFSS, particularly the analysis and document preparation required for FMEA/DFMEA and MSA.

The position also requires the selected candidate to help design and develop testing systems for new products or work with our suppliers and/or customers to copy existing test systems/ machines/ fixtures for our in-house testing.

The position reports directly to the General Manager and will also have direct reports in due course so hence requires some leadership skills.

Candidates should be professional and competent in their areas, have good inter-personal skills, be structured, clear thinking, well organised and have a good independent, driven work-ethic with determined problem-solving capabilities.

Strong written and spoken English and being a real dynamic team player is a prerequisite. It would be beneficial for candidates to speak German, but this is not a requirement for the position.

The position will involve training in Germany at our partner's factory soon after joining the company.
