Position: Supplier Quality Engineer
Direct Report to: Supplier Quality Manager
Work Location: Shanghai
Responsibilities:
1.Ensure that the pro-launch activities assigned to the SQE are completed and records are maintained;
2.Ensure that the supplier evaluation process is deployed across the supply base;
3.Develop and deploy a receiving inspection instruction for all products received into factory;
4.Analyzes and resolve NC material received from the suppliers. Work with the suppliers to determine root cause, and implement systemic corrective actions;
5.Manage the plants Focus Five Supplier program;
6.Conduct process reviews to validate that corrective action are implemented;
7.Validate raw material physical properties analysis to ensure supplier is compliant to our materials and engineering requirements;
8.Monitor suppliers’ PPM, DMR, etc. to ensure the achievement of the quality objectives;
9.Analyzes the quality metrics defined in the Scorecard, and conduct periodic evaluation and recommend action plans when there are negative trends;
10.Participates in the maintenance of the Supplier Quality Management System, where required by Supplier Quality Manager, in the areas where given its function or experience;　
11.Gives guides and leadership to the quality technicians that are assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree at least, mechanical or quality related is priority;
More than 5 years experience as QE or 3 years as SQE
Familiar with mechanical or plastic product.
Working active, independent.
Teamwork and cooperative ability.
Internal travel as required.
