Brief Description

IMA Platform Software Verification responsibility and accountability
Primary Responsibilities
-DO-178B verification lifecycle tasks: planning, requirement review, test cases/procedures generation, verification analysis, test execution and reports.
-Communication of technical information between organizations and within work group
-Communicate with leader on technique, cost, schedule and progress timely.
-Understanding and execution of all assigned tasks meeting requirements within assigned budget and schedule
-Maintain awareness of efforts within group and interfaces to assure technical quality excellence, timely completion of work and reviews, and responsiveness to customer / program needs
-Support and coordinate with interfacing organizations such as system engineering, quality engineering, certification, hardware engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, services, global engineering, etc.
-Help leader to mentor and develop less experienced person in order to build a new team.

Qualifications Required

-At least 3 years’ experience in C real time embedded software verification or development.
-Demonstrated experience of using scripting language
-Experience with testing environments and tools
-Experience with documentation generation and review
-Ability to organize information and make timely and sound decisions
-Ability to consistently produce high quality work
-Able to prioritize work, and communicate openly
-Solid English oral and written communication skills
-Ability and willingness to travel internationally as required

Qualifications Desired

-Knowledge of DO-178B
-Experience with ARINC 653, ARINC 664, ARINC 429, ARINC 615A, ARINC 661 and other industry standards
-Experience with avionics software architecture development and integration process is preferred.
-Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate extensive internal and external project resources
-Demonstrated ability for developing a new team.
-Demonstrated ability to work with cross-cultural groups.
